After searching for a suitable project case to house my PID controller for my Gaggia Classic and failing to find anything suitable I decided to build my own.
I have been working on a simple case that can be laser cut. I played around in Illustrator for a while and came up with a simple design.
You can see my cardboard mock-up of the design below. There are no complex joints, just simple slots that can be glued if required and the top should just be held in place.
I am planning to get this case laser cut at RazorLab. It looks like a great service and I hope that I get all the dimensions right and it goes together first time…
